Recently I had the joy of working with an INCREDIBLE hair & makeup artist Alic Von Simpson, the owner of Airbrush By Alice. Watching her work was like watching an artist paint. Saying this woman is talented at what she does is a massive understatement. She curled & airbrushed our model, Savannah with such fluid ease & perfection that I was in complete awe. By the time she was finished, what was already a stunningly beautiful girl, became a shining, glamorous, goddess.  I couldn’t help but snap some photos of the magic being worked before my eyes.

Having a great hair & makeup artist is one of THEE most important things you can do to rock your session, if not the most important. I cannot stress it enough. Alice recommended the use of matte finished pigments, false eyelashes ALWAYS, preferably individuals & bigger hair than you would normally wear. This is because for some reason hair appears to fall flat on camera & when we’re working on location, the elements weigh your hair down even more.
