How To Achieve The Perfect Cat Eye | Seattle Senior Photographer

In my opinion, there is nothing more glamorous & classic than a well done cat eye. It’s the only look I ever want to DO! I can’t get over it. It brings that extra oomph to every look. Most of the time I just start out with a matte, nude eyeshadow, with some shimmery highlights on my inner corner & under the brow & let my liner be the star of the show. Add some false lashes on the outer corner & va va VOOM! Instant Audrey Hepburn fabulousness. Here’s how ya get it done!

{STEP ONE}
Start with a primed and simply shadowed eye.

{STEP TWO}
Draw a skinny line
from the tear duct to the center of your pupil. Rest the brush on your eye lashes as you swipe your liner.

{STEP THREE}
Re-dip your liner brush into the liner pot. Start from the outer edge of your eye & draw a slightly thicker line, & swipe inward, resting against your lashes along the way until you meet your first line. The width of your line should change at the pupil.

{STEP FOUR}
At the outer edge of your eye, draw a little flick. Try to follow the line of your natural crease.

{STEP FIVE}
Draw another line connecting the tip of your little flick to the top of your lash line like the figure below:

& maybe even some false lashes to complete the look!

{STEP EIGHT}
Bat your eyelashes at everyone like the glamorous diva you are!
