Before the Ceremony |Seattle Wedding Photographer

I love images of brides & grooms getting ready.
There’s men, nervously laughing with their best friends or maybe enjoying a brewskie while pretending that they’re not totally freaked about what the day will bring. Guys trying to figure out how the heck to tie a bow tie. Checking themselves out in the mirror to examine their shave or hair gel application when no one is looking. If you’re careful, you can catch a glimpse of how excited they are to marry the girl of their dreams & that is the sweetest thing of all, whether or not they’ll admit it.
Then there’s the women. Giggling with their girlfriends about past shenanigans. Primping. Applying layer after layer of lip gloss & mascara. The mothers who carefully lace up bodices. Getting their daughters dressed for one last time just as they’ve done thousands of times since the moment they brought them home from the hospital.
Nervousness & excitement is thick in the air & I am like a fly on the wall, with a really nice camera to capture it all.
