It’s true! Sometimes you just need a cupcake. Especially when you live near Vista’s Little Cakes Cupcake Kitchen. I find myself needing a cupcake a lot. I consider myself somewhat of a cupcake connoisseur. Yeah that’s a thing! When you’re me it is anyway. I really do like the almighty Sprinkles Cupcakes & even Cupcake Royale in Seattle is pretty fan-effing-tastic. Little Cakes blows my previous favorite two Cupcakeries out of the mixing bowl, though! To top it off, they even serve vegan cupcakes! Can I get an amen up in here?

Just down the road from Little Cakes there is a really fun pottery painting place called Clay & Latte. This is pretty awesome because you can grab a cupcake & a coffee, then walk around the corner & get your pottery on! I’m an arts & crafts geeeeek, so this excites both your 80 year old granny and me! Side note, you really do want to bring a coffee, because despite the name “Clay & Latte” They actually only have lame-o drip coffee. What? I know. Oh well.
—Across the street from the nom nom nom noms at Little Cakes there is a theater! So I guess what I’m trying to tell you is you need to go on a cupcake, pottery painting movie date immediately. Also While you’re there, stop to take a picture against the wall of said movie theater. Why? Because it’s mustard yellow which is totally trending duh.
